Choose a design from the Radiomir collection - a line of watches developed for combat divers in the Italian military, or timepieces from the Luminor collection - a cult design from Italy, distinguishable for its crown protecting bridge. Ceramic is becoming an increasingly popular choice of material to manufacture luxury wristwatches from. The material is much more durable than stainless steel. Whether wearing your watch whilst carrying out manual tasks at work or subjecting it to general bumps, knocks and scratches during day-to-day living - ceramic is less likely to dent and damage compared to some other materials used, is safe to say that ceramic is a versatile material used in Panerai manufacture both for its sleek, modernist look and its robust, hard wearing nature.

The ceramic Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 Amagnetic 3 Days Titanio Automatic watch, although making references to titanium in its title, also features a black ceramic anti-rotational rotating bezel for recording dive time underwater. This watch has been fitted with a sleek black caoutchouc strap to assist with its submersible duties. The 9 o’clock small seconds sub dial and the date window at 3 o’clock have become hallmarks of Panerai manufacture. Combined, the features donate a technical look to the dial, whilst the P.9000 calibre, crafted exclusively by Panerai, performs flawlessly inside its 300 meter water resistant titanium case. Models from the Submersible 1950 collection are reminiscent of retro 50’s design, showcasing more defined curves in the case compared to other lines.

The Panerai Radiomir Ceramica 45mm Black Dial Manual Men's Watch requires the wearer to wind his watch up using the crown at 3 o’clock. The watch bears the same design created in 1938 for the Italian Navy and features luminous coated appliques for reading time in critical conditions during the Second World War. Now its impermeable casing with winding crown and screw down case, is further enhanced by the innovative properties of a ceramic housing, which protects the Panerai OP X calibre from any harm. The movement bears 17 jewels, a Glucydura balance and performs at 21,600 alternations per hour. It has also been equipped with an Incabloca anti-shock device, a swan's neck regulator and an impressive power reserve of 56 hours.
