Stainless steel Bremont watches are treated for hardness with B-EBE2000 technology. During this process, the metal is heat treated and then defused with carbon. After that, the metal is bombarded with electrons. The entire process of hardening the stainless steel case of a Bremont watch, simultaneously increases the scratch resistance of the watch. Together these ultra-durable cases help to maintain impressive water resistant capabilities as well as forming the protective housing of the internal movement.

Stainless steel Bremont watches offer uncompromising principles of durability. On the Vickers’ scale of hardness, B-EBE2000 produces a watch case with a value of 2000Hv. This level of robustness is seven times what is expected of a normal stainless steel watch case – a quality that only adds to the uniqueness of a bone afide Bremont watch. Many of the watch manufacturer’s innovations consist of a case integrated with their Trip-Tick® construction. The case is separated into three independently produced sections. Section one is the stainless steel bezel which contains the sapphire crystal glass. The ultimate intention of the bezel is to facilitate ease of handling and to provide a clear insight into the dial without the worry of scratching and reflection on the glass. The second section consists either of titanium or a DLC treated middle barrel. The third section is the caseback, fitted with a flat sheet of sapphire crystal glass to provide the gentleman a unique insight into the seamless operation of one of Bremont’s beautifully modified calibres.

The Bremont U-2 and the Bremont U-22 watches offer a more classic, understated look to the wrist. These steel cases which have been brushed for an elegant finish, and house the caliber 11 ½ BE-36AE automatic chronometer, with day date display in a retrograde layout.
